"A joke is a very serious thing." - Winston Churchill

"I'm not a fan of simulations. Where, 'Oh, we'll go play a simulation of world peace and figure out how to make peace' and then somehow magically that will get translated into the real world. No, that's not the kind of games that I make." - Jane McGonigal

"Learning by doing, peer-to-peer teaching, and computer simulation are all part of the same equation." - Nicholas Negroponte

"Even though NASA tries to simulate launch, and we practice in simulators, it's not the same - it's not even close to the same." - Sally Ride

"Wow! According to my computer simulation, it should be possible to create new life forms from common household chemicals" - Dibert

"All models are wrong, but some are useful" - George Box

"Far better an approximate answer to the right question, than the exact answer to the wrong question, which can always be made precise." — John Tukey

"Running simulations is very much like pleasuring yourself. Do it often enough, and it starts to feel better than the real thing." - Dr. George Rose (Johns Hopkins School of Medicine)"

Mission

Seeking international engagement opportunity to perform Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) by developing rigorous architecture models targeted to solve complex NATO, DoD or military and business problems.

I am a System Engineering professional specializing in international defense industry engagements. I focus on Model Base System Engineering.(MBSE) and requirements engineering to bring insight to the proposed solution before costly implementation.

In addition to my résumé you'll find a few models and simulations that I have developed and some examples of my work are available under the Projects page.

Welcome to my Website

I am interested in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) performing system structure and behavior modeling along with simulation technology. Interest areas include, process flow discrete event modeling, monte-carlo simulation, mathematical modeling, virtual and constructive simulations to analyze and determine optimal outcomes.

While this site specializes in models built with Java, C++, and Matlab developed simulations it also seeks to provide information on other modeling and discrete event simulation products I am familiar, such as, Flexsim, ProModel, Arena.

Learning Tools

An interesting set of free MOOCS (massive open online courses)  are being offered by iversity.

According to the website, "iversity's MOOC curriculum spans a wide range of topics from philosophy to physics, architecture to economics, and politics to engineering.  More will follow soon!"

Online Courses

There are interesting courses in Modeling and Simulation based in Mathwork's Matlab open to all.
